Depending on what you want to do there are a wide range of choices.

Just google “phonegap push notifications”.

You can specify additional phonegap plugins when you build a phonegap app.

understood. I was referring to your comment in https://www.lianja.com/community/sho...ll=1#post13140 that "I intend to look at this in due course. It can be done using web workers but it needs to be simplified through attributes."
