CHECK myfunc() error "my error" expected behavior

What is the expected behavior when I put the following CHECK table constraint on a table, where the check2() function return .F. ?

alter table willy modify check check2() error "check 2"

In run mode from dev environment, on inserting a record into willy (in the silly database <s>), I get the normal runtime error notification. Also when run from the app center.

I was expected the associated error to show up, but haven't played with this before so just checking.

Let me look into it. Something may have changed that is causing that behavior.
