    uistates and footermenu: how to beat the system?

    I have a uistate action defined (for a section) as:

    footermenu=|&Add Login

    Unfortunately, the uistate machine seems to dislike anything that is not a char. Depending on what I have there, I end up with an options menu rather than the full footer menu (and that itself consists of not what I wanted)).

    Is there a way (I've tried the 3 quote delimiters, tried a macro with quotes inside it) to make it behave? Or should I file a ticket?

    thanks,

    Hank

    Hi Hank,

    Submit a ticket. It should be handling anything that is assigned as a string if its not true, false or a number.
